The Old Milton Country Fair offers families a day to step back in time to the early days of North Georgia with historical crafts and demonstrations, exhibits such as blacksmithing, basket weaving, butter churning, leathersmithing, candle and soap making and spinning. Families can take part in gold and gem panning, view an old moonshine still, learn about cotton, and watch calisthenics, fashion and etiquette demonstrations from the mid-1800s.
This project presented a special need, as the organizers required a web site to be completed in less than a week, on short notice, and during an already full production schedule here at the Studio. Recognizing that special needs do crop up, Wildwood rose to the challenge and came to the aid of this worthwhile community event. |
